RCM Design assists Industry to turn their mechanical concepts into commercial reality, or simple solve problems with design or manufacture. My name is Colin Mathews and RCM Design was set up to provide design solutions to the various types of problems seen through 30 years in Industry.
I have always been intrigued by how things work, how they are made. Take an engine, it’s made mainly of metal, but numerous different grades of metal, all preforming distinct functions with a wide variety of properties, some soft, some hard, some heat resistant, some not. It was a logical step go to college and find out what was used where and why. I’ve been putting that knowledge into practice across various Industries ever since.
